Warning: Account Quota Exceeded!
Situation
You are receiving an email message similar to the following:
Subject: Warning: Account Quota Exceeded!
Someone@Somewhere.com attempted to send a message on Thu, 03 Mar 2005 07:33:45 -0600. This message was refused either because your mailbox is already full or because accepting it would exceed your quota limitations of 0 individual files (0 means no limit) or 10000 KB of disk space (0 means no limit).
Solution
This message indicates that someone is attempting to send you an email message that is larger than the disk space available to your account.
If you receive the message, please check the following items:
- Access your account through Web Mail and check all of your folders, including your "Sent" and "Trash" folders. Delete all unnecessary email to make more room in your mailbox. In most instances, this resolves the problem.
- If you use an email client like Outlook or Outlook Express, change your account settings to delete email from the server.
- Check with the sender to ensure that they are not attempting to send an attachment that is larger than the available space in your mailbox.
- Contact Us if you wish to increase your mailbox quota. (Extra monthly charges apply.)
